Bayou Fighting Championship is owned and operated by the legendary Joe Ancona and UFC Veteran Tim Credeur. We have been in the Fight Game all of their lives both inside and outside of the ring and we are are raising the bar when it comes to promoting MMA, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Grappling events in Louisiana!

Bayou Fighting Championship was born from earlier kickboxing and boxing exhibitions put on by New Orleans martial arts legend Joe Ancona in the early 80s. Ancona owned multiple businesses related to martial arts including a live-in training camp for serious fighters. A few decades later, Ancona was responsible for getting MMA sanctioned in the state of Louisiana and the Battle of New Orleans events were born. Since then Battle of New Orleans events have spread regionally and now we’re proud to have highly successful Bayou Fighting Championship events in Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
